Sandra Franco joined the Board of Directors with Charlie’s House in January of 2016 and serves as co-chair of the PR/Marketing committee.
Sandra is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and although she still spends time there, considers Kansas City her adopted home. After a long and rewarding career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, she retired in 2014. As a former volunteer with the Rose Brooks Center, Sandra worked with women and children seeking treatment at area hospitals as a result of domestic abuse. Currently, she volunteers with Lead to Read KC.
Sandra resides in Lees Summit with her fur babies, Chaz and Clover. Her son and daughter also reside in the metro area, which allows Sandra to spend many enjoyable hours with her grandson, Avery.
